2GIG-TILT1-345 Product Description:
The 2GIG-TILT1-345 is a wireless tilt sensor that is designed for applications where the tilt status of an asset, such as a garage door, needs to be monitored. Other uses for the TILT1-345 might include: mailbox doors, large pet doors, or hinged storm cellar doors. The TILT1-345 tilt sensor communicates with the control panel using the 345 MHz frequency. Once the sensor is tilted to 45 degrees, the sensor will transmit to the panel. The sensor will also send a restore signal when the sensor it returned to less than 45 degrees.
The 2GIG-TILT1-345 is equipped with a cover tamper switch and low battery monitoring. If the case of the Tilt Sensor is removed for any reason, the radio transmitter will send a tamper alert. Should the battery voltage drop below a prescribed level, the sensor will send a low battery report indicating that the battery should be replaced. The 2GIG-TILT1-345 is compatible with GC2 firmware revisions 1.14 and higher.

I?ve had this sensor on my garage door for about a years now. It has never once let me down. It always works and never loses connection. The battery life is amazing, Definitely a good addition to any home automation system.

This is what I was looking for in a sensor, easy install in the Garage. I mounted it with Two Way tape at an angle on the bracket on the roll up door. This works great, I purchased 3 of these to put on each garage doors. I programed my SmartThings to turn on the appropriate garage lights when the door was opened and to turn them off after 5 minutes
