The DSC HSM2HOST9 two-way transceiver module adds wireless capability to the DSC HS2016, HS2032, HS2064, HS2128, HS3032 and HS3248 alarm control panels. The HS2HOST9 transceiver can receive up to 128 wireless zones plus 16 wireless keypads. It can also support up to 32 wireless keys or 32 panic pendants. One transceiver can be enrolled per system with up to 8 wireless repeaters.
The HSM2HOST9 utilizes multichannel, Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum technology enables the system to hop between wireless frequency channels to ensure the seamless transmission of secure communications between the devices and the PowerG control panel. High transmission ranges allow for devices to reliably communicate within up to 2km/1.24 miles line-of-sight, therefore reducing the cost of installing additional repeaters to service larger premises.
