DSC PG9911 Product Description:
The DSC PG9911 is a wireless PowerG outdoor 110dB alarm siren and strobe light is designed for installation in areas where wiring is difficult. The PG9911 outdoor siren is a 2-way fully supervised self-powered device that provides differentiated audible and visual alerts in the case of fire, carbon monoxide, burglary and flood events. In addition to providing a loud audible alert, the PG9911 also contains a built-in high-power white strobe light providing a visual alert of the event. With its sleek and modern design, the PG9911 will fit your most desired outdoor mounting spaces.
Since the PG9911 is wireless, it can conveniently be installed in numerous locations outside the home or business. With fewer holes to drill and reduced installation time the setup is a breeze. The PG9911 wireless PowerG outdoor siren is equipped with a visible signal quality LED indicator that lets the installer choose the optimal location for installation, eliminating the effort of going back and forth to the keypad. Additionally, device configuration is quick and easy with no hardware switches or need to re-open the device once its installed.
The PG911 sounder is activated for a predefined duration according to local requirements, or until the system is disarmed. If the siren is tampered with while armed, the siren transmits a tamper message to the control panel. The control panel determines whether to activate the siren. If the siren does not receive an acknowledge message from the alarm system, the siren functions independently. When the battery voltage is low, a low battery message is sent to the alarm system. After message delivery, at least 2 siren alarms are possible before the siren battery is totally depleted.

Visual Signal Strength:
- Green LED Blinks: STRONG
- Orange LED Blinks: GOOD
- Red LED Blinks: POOR
- No blinks: No Communication
Only GOOD or STRONG signal strengths are acceptable. If you receive a POOR signal from the device, re-locate it and re-test until a GOOD or STRONG signal is received.
