    The DSC PG9936 is a wireless PowerG photoelectric smoke and heat detector with a fixed temperature and rate of rise heat detector. The PG9936 smoke/heat detector provides early warning of developing fire by sounding an alarm with its internal piezoelectric alarm siren, and by transmitting an alarm signal to the security system.

    The PG9936 alerts occupants of the room by activating the built-in 85dB alarm buzzer and flashing LED light when smoke or temperature exceeding 57°C (135°F) are detected. At the same time, it transmits a coded signal to the compatible PowerG control panel to activate the system siren, alerting the end user and/or GeoArm central monitoring station to send onsite assistance.

    With a quick installation process and just a few holes to drill, the PowerG wireless smoke and heat detector offers home and business owners more choice in terms of installation, including locations in which wiring is difficult or impossible. Maintenance is also made easy, with audio and visual sensitivity degradation indicators notifying when cleaning or replacement of the detector is required.

    I have one installed above the back door and one in the archway between the bedrooms in our apartment. I would not be without a carbon/heat detector in my apartment. This device is made by a highly recommended manufacturer and is of top quality. Thank you for making this excellent product available for a great price!

    I sleep much better at night now that I?ve installed this device. Work great and as you would expect. The alarm is very loud which is good, comes with batteries, Highly recommend as a good smoke/heat alarm.

    This is a high-quality detector very easy to connect to my alarm system and install on the ceiling and you will need to be able to configure it to your alarm panel that has a compatible wireless receiver.

    I bought these to replace my 15 plus year old smoke detectors. I like the clean look of these, installation is super easy and so many neat safety features on this to make you feel good about this detector. Was very easy to mount. Nothing to it. Highly recommend.
