DSC PG9949 Product Description:
The DSC PG9949 is a programmable PowerG encrypted 2-button remote keyfob that combines easy management of your compatible security system with the added confidence of personal portable protection. The modern, compact wireless key lets users easily arm/disarm the system as they approach the building or call for help in the event of a danger when in close proximity to or inside the building.
The PG9949 can be configured to transmit up to three separate commands to the alarm system. Two of the commands are transmitted by pressing one of the buttons separately, and the third is by pressing them simultaneously. Confirmation of a successful transmission is indicated by the LED light. The PG9949 can also be used as a panic button by pressing and holding the button for 3 to 5 seconds until the red LED turns on. Do not hold the button for more than 5 seconds. When the green LED turns on, the transmission is successful.
The PG9949 keyfob provides both visual and audible verification of the successful execution of any requested commands. The dual confirmation that the message has been executed by the security system offers "peace of mind" to users. It is equipped with a full two-second activation delay on its panic function to help reduce false alarms, thus minimizing costly false dispatches caused by accidental activations. Additionally, the other keys incorporate a one-second delay to minimize false activations.

This keyfob works very well, I can be pretty far away from my security system and still arm and disarm it, of course all houses are different so I can't say for all but it works really well and have had no other sensors working at my range
