The Qolsys QS5210-840 IQ Carbon Monoxide is designed to protect individuals from the acute effects of carbon monoxide exposure. Carbon monoxide is a dangerous invisible gas which is important to monitor against. The detector consists of an electrochemical carbon monoxide sensor assembly coupled to a wireless transmitter. The QS5210-840 can send alarm, tamper and battery condition messages to the IQ panel. This carbon monoxide device is operating 24-7, whether your system is armed or not, and can inform you of any danger ensuring you'll know exactly if and when danger is present in your home or business.

Correct units arrived, I needed to replace a similar alarm by the same company without having to change the ceiling attachment piece. This worked out just fine. I don't know about the battery life yet since I just installed it.

One of my carbon monoxide detectors had reached it's "end of life", so I was looking for a simple, inexpensive, replacement that just does its job. The Qolsys wireless Carbon Monoxide Detector fit the bill. And it installs in minutes. The alarm is loud, and its features are very basic.I'm extremely glad I got one of these and can say with confidence that it definitely works.
