RE201 - Alula Wireless Door/Window Alarm Contact (for Honeywell Home)
Alula RE201 Product Description:
The Alula RE201 is a full-featured door and window security transmitter with industry-leading wireless range and battery life that is compatible with Honeywell Home® security system products. It is typically used to sense opening and closing of doors and windows, but can secure just about anything using its two external contact zones. It will alarm when the magnet is pulled away from the sensor or when an external contact is opened.
To enroll the RE201, begin by placing the Honeywell Home panel into learn mode and then tripping the sensor 3 times, waiting several seconds between trips, or by entering the serial number on the back of the sensor.
To install the RE201, begin by mounting the sensor and magnet on a door or window using the mounting screw locations. Make sure to align the alignment marks on the sensor and magnet when mounting. Additionally, the sensor can be used with up to two external contacts. Keep in mind the following for use as an external contact. Use normally-closed contacts because the door window sensor will transmit an alarm when it sees an external contact open. Next, do not use end-of-line resistors. Lastly, wire the contact wires to one or both outside terminals, using the center terminal as common.

I love these alarms, I am super excited that I am replacing the one clunky alarm. I need the extra security because I have a four-year-old boy who is autistic and he started to open the garage door and other doors exiting our home. Works great and so glad I bought it.

I needed a simple solution to monitor my doors for the security and safety of my family. I had tried a few others resources, but nothing quite worked...until I found Alula wireless door alarm. These door alarms were super easy to install and set up. The app is extremely user-friendly, as well.
