When designing your system, keep in mind that the Honeywell VISTA 20P dual-path security system supports up to forty-eight (48) total zones with expansion modules but only supports eight (8) hardwired zones without expansion. You should add the Honeywell 4219 hardwired 8-zone expansion modules if you want to add more than eight (8) hardwired zones to your VISTA 20P dual-path security system. This VISTA 20P security system kit comes equipped to send its alarm signals over the multiple Wi-Fi, internet IP or cellular AT&T LTE-M network(s). The Honeywell LTEM-PA dual-path alarm communicator sends your alarm signals over the primary internet/wifi communication path, and if down, over the backup cellular AT&T LTE-M communication path to the GeoArm central monitoring station.
With an AlarmNet alternative communicator in place (such as the LTEM-PA), you would no longer need traditional phone service at the property to monitor your VISTA 20P security system. The alternative communicator would also allow you to upgrade to GeoArm's Total Connect interactive alarm monitoring services, which enables you to receive important alerts, keep a close eye on your home and control your security system remotely via the internet and/or mobile devices you use each and every day.
